New version of BioMap released. Series of images can now directly be exported as movie, multi-layer tiff or animated gif file.

The ability to export MS images as stacks of pictures and movies was present in previous versions, but with considerable limitations when run under Windows. The current update of BioMap offers the ability to export MS images as AVI, GIF or TIF files (menu 'File' – 'Export' – 'Movie'). Hint: When exporting as movie, all the installed codecs are displayed as options, but not all of them work equally well. Best results were achieved using the MPEG4 standard.
