When I try to apply baseline correction (scan from datamanager: Plot Tool > Config > Options > Filter Tab > Baseline correction > yes / or / Plot Tool > Config > Baseline correction / or / Tools > Calculation > Baseline Correction) I always get the same error message window. Is it about the scan?
Uh, the demo data set does not have enough points… this is why it fails… I just tested it with 100 m/z points and it worked.

ModeratorThe matching function in BioMap is “Display” – “Enlarged Image”.
Changing bin size is possible when importing a new MSI file into BioMap (through the import dialog box). Is changing “Ramp” by Edit > Header > Parameter > Ramp the same as Binning?
No this will generate a linear parameter scale to the same data points. For MS data, this will just re-label the m/z axis of the existing data points.

ModeratorA typical workflow in BioMap involves opening/importing the files and then saving the data to the internal database. I don’t understand what you try to achieve and where it fails. File input/export is also explained in detail in the BioMap manual (pdf in the BioMap folder). Please report back with more details and we’ll try to solve the issue.

ModeratorMRI functions are still available, just register through this link.

ModeratorCheers for the files. They opened just fine on my system with BioMap 3.8.0.4, but when I copied them in a folder with a dot in the name I could reproduce your error. Please try to open the files from a plain location like “C:data” and expect for this to be the solution.

ModeratorTo enable BioMap functions, you need to have a license file named “licenserc.” with the keys matching to your MAC address. This is generated on the first login. MSI and MRI need different keys, which you need to combine in a single file. There are different links to gernerate these keys, one on this website and one provided by Bruker. We realize that software activation for MRI is far from optimal and requires some steps from the user.

ModeratorThere might be multiple causes for this, and troubleshooting is complex. But since the license is bound to the MAC address of the network adapter, you may just copy your MAC address (all lower case, no separators) to the activation website and get a key.

ModeratorNo, BioMap does not offer this functionality. Burt since the Analyze data format is very simple, it would be possible to remove these peaks with a small script in the language of your choice.

ModeratorThis is per design and BioMap does not support color images.
I did as you wrote. BioMap now opens, but still does not display any registration fields. I could not find any “licenserc.” file. If it can help, here is a screenshot of the windows that could be of interest.
Please try the solution of post #822

:S
OK, my mistake  , TissueView creates these files automatically but not BioMap. So, please copy the files from C:\\Program Files\\BioMap\\Settings\\ to C:\\Documents and Settings\\pourcher\\Application Data\\biomap\\ and start BioMap. If BioMap does not display the registration field, make sure you don’t have a file with the name “licenserc.” in the BioMap program folders. Also, if this does not help, you may register BioMap using the method of post # 822 in this thread. Copy the received “licenserc.”file into C:\\Documents and Settings\\pourcher\\Application Data\\biomap\\ and all should work well.

Bruker customers can get a link to the registration page from Bruker. But also Google might have the answer for BioMap MRI 😉 -
